Apple Butterscotch Cookies

Ingredients

1 cup butter

2 cups sugar

2 eggs

2 1/2 cups flour, sifted

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon

3 cups apples, shredded

1 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped

1 6-ounce package of butterscotch morsels

Directions

1)Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs.

2)Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt , and cinnamon.

3)Stir in apples, nuts, and morsels. Add more flour if needed to keep cookie mixture thick.

4)Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
